Why do young people think it's acceptable to be rude about other peoples' beliefs? I work with a bunch of 20 somethings who have no qualms about mocking my Christian faith, while "informing" me that I must be a hypocrite because Jesus loves everybody, including Bruce Jenner. While I believe that Jesus loves Bruce Jenner, I will not acknowledge that He is pleased with Caitlyn, although I am sure He loves "her" too. o_O Nor will I ever bow before any rainbow idol, set up by the White House. Point is, where is the "tolerance?"

There are none so intolerant than those who celebrate diversity.

Religious intolerance turns unbearable when it's mixed with diversity intolerance, making hard to deal our own beliefs in God and they way he may look at the people involved in a given fact, regardless what the bible says about.

Personally, and believing in God besides of the many other beliefs the bible condemns, I have to say there are situations that I don't fully understand and much less how to place my beliefs in to them.

Bruce Jenner is one of those persons I admired being man, but his transgender revelations and aspirations only earned my respect, as I am respectful of anyone's belief, aspirations or else.

Now, transformed into Caitlyn Jenner, I don't know what to say. I suppose God loves "her" not a Caitlyn, not as Bruce, but as the human being behind them, but if I'm not clear with this, I know many other people cannot either, and might be much more confused in situations like this.

However nothing justify rudeness in any instance.

I am so with you on this. I mean I have my beliefs but I am open to hearing about the beliefs of others. I also don't stand in judment of them for those beliefs. Yet, I have been on another forum in the past where I was downright appalled at some behavior. There was some one person in particular who literally thrashed anyone who believed in God. I couldn't believe it I mean I believe in God but I am open to hearing from those who don't. But having somoene who doesn't tell me that I was a moron for believing was something that I thought was horrible behavior. Its one thing to have our beliefs, but to me its entirely another to force those beliefs onto others. How about being open minded and hearing about their beliefs, we might actually find out some interesting things about their faith if we just stay open minded.

I deleted the account of one person who registered here a couple of months ago, before he made his first post, because I have come across him in other forums where he was talking about how he enjoyed taking the Christians on. While there is certainly room for disagreement and discussion here, this forum isn't about taking someone on, and I would hope that disagreements occur in good faith rather than being amused by putting someone else down for whatever it is that he or she might believe.

I tend not to talk about religion online, or with anyone I don't know. I have no tolerance for the intolerance of others'. I really don't see the need to denigrate those who talk about their religion in most cases. If I encounter people who do, I usually avail myself of the Block button, if one exists.

When Caitlyn Jenner dies, I wonder if St. Peter will be waiting at the gate for Bruce instead?

I'm with you Diane. I don't see the need to argue with anyone about my belief system. It is a futile endeavor, at best. If I encounter a person who can debate civilly, it's okay with me if we disagree on everything. I have a friend who is a Muslim, and that is the ONLY thing about her that I don't like, so we just don't discuss our religious beliefs much. I do pray for her, but I don't tell her that. :p If anybody wants to "take on Christians," I think Christians need to walk away. If somebody wants to "take me on" about any other subject, I hope they have their seatbelt fastened. :p

    And to Ike Willis: :D:D:D

He's a transgender science experiment alright. Facts do not love and do not have emotions. I'm just stating the facts that Bruce Jenner's chromosomes possess male DNA through and through.

I'm a Judeo-Christian and I reserve the right to express facts in disgust. It's also a fact that Almighty God gives rain and sunshine to all humanity-- to all humans embracing truth and those hiding falsehood.

It's really not worth it. Does anyone really think they're going to change another's beliefs? I know some people feel the need to preach to others, but I have the right to not be preached to, and I leave others alone, as well. I also have friends and even family of many different persuasions, backgrounds, etc. and everyone gets along. It seems often the only conflict is when one tries to change another's viewpoint. Come to think of it, that's what also causes a lot of divorces ;).

That's true Ken, if both parties can actually have a conversation, about their differing faiths, while allowing each other to be who they are. The problem is, that's a rarity in human nature. We always end up thinking the other person is stupid, and we tend to express that with scoffing or anger. I love my friend, but I can barely tolerate her religion! I don't think I could discuss Christianity with her, unless she asked me to explain it to her, and I don't foresee her doing that.

Just a little bit of fun. Just want to reiterate: This is comedy video , and act trying to make a point regarding 'freedom of speech'. Radical Islam and Democrats/Liberals compared.

This reminds me of my husband who seem to be rude when Jehovah's Witnesses would come knocking on our gates. My husband would tell them that he is busy. And those JW would say my husband has no time for God. So my husband would retort with a short lesson about who is God and who those JW are.

I am so glad to hear this. I have been banned and also quit forums because I wasn't even allowed to say the word God or Jesus.

(this is in reply to Ken's post number 5). I tried to quote it, but I guess I don't know how.
